PTTMCC Organizes Volunteer Activity to Conserve Mangrove Forests

On May 9, 2025, PTT MCC Biochem Company Limited, led by Mr. Hirohisa Kajiwara, President, with executives and employees, arranged PTTMCC CSR Annual Activity 2025 and forces in the volunteer initiative "PTTMCC Mangrove Conservation" at the Mangrove Learning Center, Rayong Province

As part of the activity, PTTMCC volunteers planted White Mangrove and Bruguiera trees. Instead of using plastic bags, they used BioPBS cups a product made from bio-based, biodegradable materials demonstrating a sustainable approach that avoids contributing to plastic waste. The volunteers also participated in cleaning and helping to restore the natural environment of the mangrove area.

For this activity, PTTMCC aims to promote and preserve the richness of the mangrove ecosystem, which plays a key role in maintaining ecological balance. This area is also an important eco-tourism destination in Rayong, for more attracting visitors to experience its natural beauty and learn about the vital role mangrove forests play in coastal protection and biodiversity in way forward.
